Closed or open meeting: 
The WHO has recently completed a new guideline on optimizing health worker roles to improve access to key material and newborn health interventions through task shifting. The session will (1) present some of the innovative methods used to develop this evidence-based guideline for health systems, including the use of systematic reviews of qualitative evidence and of a new framework, developed by the DECIDE project (www.decide-collaboration.eu ) and the GRADE Working Group, for moving from evidence to recommendations; (2) outline the key recommendations; (3) provide an opportunity to discuss both the methods used and the recommendations made.
